Pessoal Brasileiro que tá assistindo isso, eu tentei fazer igual nesse video há uns meses atrás e não consegui. Agora já estou estudando mais android studio do zero e fazendo as coisas no seu tempo.
Se você não entende muito programação, não use esse video como referencia, pois o autor não ensina quase nada. E a versão do android studio que ele usa é desatualizada, ou seja, você não vai conseguir fazer um jogo funcional copiando e colando tudo que ele escreveu. Você terá problemas de crash, bug e erros, principalmente na posição dos canos. Isso não é culpa do autor do video, mas das novas versões do android studio que entendem os métodos/variáveis e tudo no geral de forma diferente.
Use esse video mais como inspiração e não como ctrl c + ctrl v.

My game is running, I am not getting any errors, however, my bird is not appearing. I re-checked my draw method and have tried saving my png file in different ways and yet the bird will not appear. As of now, only my background appears. Does anyone know what the problem might be?
