“Weak mindset” primarily applies to young people. Lots of parents are too busy putting food on the table to work out. Try hitting the gym consistently when you’re working from 6am till 7pm (daily commute included). I used to be shredded as well and I’m still lean but it’s become significantly harder to maintain a healthy body

it took me awhile to realize this, i recently started working out, i go to bed with anticipation for working out the next day now, i understand its difficult on my body, but as the days and weeks pass, it gets easier and easier. your mind is the most powerful tool to get in shape. weak mind = weak body.

The irony is, once you accept that it takes time and commit to focussing on form first, slowly building up… the results come a lot sooner.

Actually getting into 'shape' require a change of habits and actually knowing what you're doing.

Many people try but fail due to the above. Many people out of shape have great 'mindsets' in all other areas of life.

This is so relatable, I'm 5 months into my training but I'm always asking my self "Why am i not like what i imagined to be?" But in reality when i compare my current self to my past the moment i started working out, I'm bigger, stronger, and way more aaesthetic, but the toxic mindset of trying to make it easy or not enough is really hard to remove.

It’s true i just started lifting and want to be fit within 6 months but I know it will probably be like my jiu jitsu journey and take my 3+ years to be happy with where I’m at I will get there one day!
