This is similar to tamil folk music. It is mainly based on precussion and has been played from 500 BCE. I play this on my kit when I cover tamil songs. I did not know how technical it is. I feel proud of my drumming skills for once. These videos are helping me inprove alot.

check this out... i learned about this in hs... so i went home and started messing around. now im doing this and reversing it to "6 over 4" (alternating) its GREAT to keep it going around the kit.
sit down and use the real technical as fills but keep the groove going, i like to add lots of heritas, ghosts notes, and triplet tom/bass fills (bonham triplets) as well as quads... great fun. thanks for the vid!
