Question.... I have my Security+ and was thinking of jumping into CEH, should I knock out Linux+ first???

The nice thing about the old exam is that it doesn't expire. The new exam you have to take every 3 years, or get CEUs, so maybe
do the old version while you have the chance

Hey they dont have the 2 in 1 exam which gave LPIC1, its worth mentioning i guess which is a downside to the newer version

Can I get LPIC-1 if I passed XK0-004? Just like LX0-103 & LX0-104?

So if I study Lp 103 and 104 will help me for new one?

This is an entry level exam.. but into what exactly? It seems to cover a very broad range of topics without going in to depth on any of them. I'd rather do LPIC1, then some devops, then foundational security separately.

According to the Linux Academy CompTIA has merged the content for LX0-103 or LX0-104 into this one exam + the extras.

What sucks about this exam is that it doesn’t give us the LPIC 1 from LPI to go ahead for LPIC 2 system engineer. Why!? Other than that it is great

This woulda been nice to know about before i signed up for the LPI Cisco class.

Is the new certification still valid with the 2 in 1 certification for LPI?

So, do you need to pass 3 exams to get Linux+ or is just this one exam now? I'm confused.
