Important Tip always spin around when dealing with a zombie some distance away to make sure there isn't one sneaking up from behind

Never attack through doorways. Doorways are extremely janky, with zombies often teleporting through them with a lunge. The hit boxes and line-of-sight for zombies are also different from those of the player, which means they can see you and attack you even when you can't see or attack them if you're at the wrong angle around a doorway. If you know there's a zombie on the other side of a doorway but can't see them, lure them out instead of going in after them.

The Aim Outline stopped me from dying, as did aiming past the zombie. Also, some angles are tricky so I typically attack zombies at certain angles. Good tips!

A tip that ive learned after playing on high and very high population: stop your car a few blocks or a distance away from your looting location in denser areas. Cars can make a ton of noise and before you know it you’ll have an entire horde following the sound. Walking on foot lets you take on smaller crowds too (rather than one giant horde)

When fighting 2-3 zeds, you can stomp their foot when they are on the ground to break their recovery phase by getting up, it does 0 damage but it can help you to fight more than 2 zeds, Just dont get cocky if you specially dont use multi-hit.

I noticed you mentioned one I was harping both in the live stream and both of the pointer videos, well I have another kind of combat one:

Shout!
lol hear me out.
Find a mostly enclosed area with high walls where the entrance is preferably on the opposite side from your base, walk all throughout your neighborhood shouting and head for the high wall, it might be a bit difficult and force you to run for short stretches as the zombies of the whole area converge on you.
Now simply jump the wall and shout a few times in the middle of the mostly enclosed area and wait for the zombies to show up around the corner and jump the wall again before they see you.

As long as there weren't any stragglers the length of one of the walls behind the group there shouldn't be any left in the areas you shouted in.

Pro tip: watches and alarm clocks can also be used to group or mislead zombies by attracting them to the other side of a wall or away from an entrance. warning after 10 seconds the alarm stops and they disperse once more but seeing is still more important than hearing so don't let them see you. this also works great for remote detonated bombs to clear whole groups with ease.

Pro Pro tip but not tested: collect 144 digital watches and dump them in a spot set to have alarms on every 10 minute point in a day and for 10 seconds they will ring on every 10 minute change of the clock heard up to 15 squares, this might be enough to act as a "Trap" for zombies keeping them locked in one place forever.

After just over 3500 hours the one bit of advice have for new players is NIMBLE .. pick burglar and the traits that add sneak and lighfoot and nimble skills.. I also take matinence traits .. try not to take traits that only give you a level in weapons or something because they level up the first two levels fast whereas nimble is super slow to level up. Nimble is op, you move quickly in fighting stance.
Taking outdoors man also overrides the neg trait prone to illness so two free trait points there and conspicuous doesn’t seem to make any difference so another free two points there too. Also sardines and corned beef don’t need a can opener.

Good tips, especially the stopping a bit before shooting and the distance with a two handed weapon.

Also, building a fire someplace like a highway and simply getting it lit, then tricking a small group across it can set zombies on fire and the spread almost always leads to other zombies on fire as well.

I have a very hard time getting the fire spread to burn corpses so I pile them into a mass grave and use this trick to get a zombie to kill itself and get rid of my corpse problems.

The biggest, easiest tip is to pick your fights carefully.

Before getting into the fight, know your surroundings, know your own resources, and know how many you are facing. If you know the enemy, and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles.

If the fight is not to your advantage to take, don't take it. Retreat, and take a more advantageous position. Take a position that restricts the amount of angles the zombies can come from, but also gives you an avenue to flee, should the situation get too dangerous. Unless you have a decent set of melee weapons, I wouldn't directly fight more than 3 at a time if you can help it.

Another big one: knocked down zombies can't get back up if you are standing on them.

You can use this to your advantage to control a fight. if you are fighting a 4 on 1, a well timed shove can knock one or two down, and turn it into a 3 on 1, or even a 2 on 1. Use your shove to control attacking order, and engage first the ones who attack first. Knock one down, stand on them, then attack the next, stomping the one you have pinned down if you have a moment before the next arrives. Forestall them, never giving them a chance to touch you. When they are getting too concentrated, break off the attack, retreat some distance, and change your angle, in order to break up formations.

If you need to run, shove the enemies back to create an opening. turning your back to a horde without creating space is a death sentence. Once one grabs you, the whole group can stunlock you, and theres little you can do once that happens.

The tip will be more reliable and easy to understand with proper clip example, I see many of your clip not match up with the tip and confusing for player who genuinely learning.

When fighting hordes, keep a car near by, but do not fight near it. That way you can run/fast walk to your car when exhausted. Drive around for a bit, then resume fighting when your character has recovered stamina. Also, use buildings and other obstacles such as cars, to cause the Zeds to 'conga' into a line, making it less likely the character can get surrounded, or attacked from the side. With perk such as axeman, a pick axe and high fitness, it's easy to pop the Zeds down one by one. This is more important in Apoc mode, where it's only possible to hit one Zed at a time.

I ragequit this game today, but heck - with these tips I will surely be unstoppable!
*EDIT* two deaths later - I MAY have misidentified the needed solution....

Thanks to this wonderful guide my chances of surviving a zombie apocalypse have drastically improved from 'really dead' to 'might not come back as a zed after they've filled their bellies with giblets of me'.

I've not played through PZ with all occupations yet. Lumberjack seems to be my favourite though!
Always enable multi-hit!
Unless I blanked out briefly, you didn't mention spear charges. W/ spear, sprint for a couple of seconds and you'll begin a spear charge. One hit kills; best for lone zombies!

my problem is that sometimes my character just randomly wants to push or hit 45 degrees to other way from the zombie even when the zombie is green outlined and im aiming at the zombie. This is why I die 99% of the time

Always hold right mouse when going up or down a staircase (When you aren't sure it's clear.) because you never know if there's a zombie just waiting for you.

another useful tip: Sitting down can regenerate your fatigue very quickly. Just make sure there is no zombies following you as the get up animation is extremely slow

NEVER shoot a gun indoors or confined spaces, especially a shotgun. What you’ll end up is being cornered by the entire town of yours.
