I love the entire line- I am 15 and got the space one and enjoyed the build process and how it lets your build it yourself

These sets are actually what got me into LEGO again as an adult. The way they incorporated free building into the instructions is extremely clever and something that the mainstream sets only touch on. I wish they made more of these because not only are they great at getting people into the hobby, but they're also a crazy good value for the variety of parts you get.

Speaking of creativity, the "perfected" models is the outcome of the creativity from the designers.

As you said, the pieces from model sets are difficult to build with if you take it apart, but the builds are also proof that you can achieve such perfected builds with your creativity.

I love the new sets that have 3 different ways to build them, gives you a reason to tear them down and do it again another time!

Bought this for my kid not expecting much. I was REALLY surprised by how interesting it was. My kid has difficulty not following the directions and doesn't usually like to rebuild stuff but THIS? He was taking it apart, putting it together, making stories, and adding and taking stuff off IMMEDIATELY. And the price makes it really accessible too. I can't wait to find more of these MISSIONS sets.

There was another one similar to that I owned when I was a kid. You should really check it. It was 3 or 4 entire builds in 1 set of blocks. You could build it and take it apart to make a new thing with just 1 set. I loved it to bits

I've always done that with my bionicles. Now I have unique creations that likely no one else has created. Because they all have several limbs, or moded hands or feat that they normally wouldn't or shouldn't.

I love how they literally make giant lego-looking boxes of just pieces with a theme but no instructions for this purpose

For me my favorite is one i just found the name of again online. Imperial V-Wing Set 7915 from 2011. I got it for my birthday when i was really young and enjoyed the main build, but then took it apart and used what it gave me and my own parts to build a little rhino shaped walker Absolutely adored the little R2 unit in it
