IPTV is merely an internet protocol like TCP/IP. In of itself, it isn't illegal. Just as Kodi isn't illegal. But the content that may be distributed via this protocol may be illegal. Saying IPTV is illegal is like saying a web browser like Chrome is illegal simply because there are underground websites that stream unlicensed material over the web and Chrome can be used to view it.

If there is a series that you are nuts over and can't live without, then buy the series on discs at cheapy-Mart or a black friday mega-sale and then rip the discs (100% legally) to an external drive and then on a DVR or Streamer like Roku Ultra. It is better than paying a bunch of monthly fees forever.

I love to see remastered original Battlestar Galactica. Not so sure about the reboot since they will probably WOKE and SJW the hell out of it.
