When Vitali Klitschko Shocked the World

Vitali Klitschko is remembered in the boxing ring as a real warrior with a crushing punch and absolutely granite chin, probably the best in the super-heavyweight history. None of Klitschko's former opponents, in 47 fights, could even knock him down. Doctor Iron Fist had an impressive 17 fights for the world title. During his career he had 45 wins, 41 of them by KO, the early win percentage was over 87%, which is the second-best result ever in the heavyweight history among the former champions. Only the legendary Rocky Marciano is slightly ahead of him.
One could argue that Vitali has never "really" lost in the professional ring, he has been the victim of injuries twice. In fights with Chris Byrd and Lennox Lewis before the stoppage he defeated his opponents on judges' cards.

Vitali was the better of the two brothers and would have been a difficult opponent for any heavyweight in any era. He really was a top notch performer. Sanders gave him the toughest fight of his career but ultimately Vitali prevailed. RIP Corrie Sanders (1966-2012).

We brought Briggs into the UKE Hospital in Hamburg. His shoulders were so huge, that he didn't fit into the brain scanner. For a week he was the star of the hospital, giving press conferences out of his bed and giving comments on social media while being transported in bed to the x-ray including all of his gangsta-style collegues. V. Klitschko-L. Lewis was the first fight I watched in my life out of my own will, i.e. not cause my dad or friends wanted to see it. I was 12. It was like watching two bears fight, in the best possible way. What a pair of legends

There are people who said Klitschko have brothels in Kiew. I don't believe it. He is a soooo good guy. I remember the fights against Alexey Lesin. Very interesting.
That could happen if you have good opponents.
Take a look at the fight 47 years old "Big" George against 27 years old Shannon Briggs.
Briggs had a damaged Bicep at the Klitschko Fight. . Why the Trainer didn't stop the fight.

Old Lewis was the fantastic fighter and gave good fight with Vitali, but wound on face Lewis done deliberate by scraping Vitali's face by gloves and elbows in clinches thus making that wound, which he exploited by few punches later widening that wound, but he hadn't anything serious in pure boxing which gave him chance to beat Klitschko. He was a real champion who found how to win a fight which he hadn't any chance to win. Then it was known that Lewis must decide the fight in the first five rounds because Vitali was always better after sixth, and it was particularly in this fight with old Lewis, the fight was stopped exactly when Lewis was completely exhausted.
