I strongly believe that the clothing was not because they were shy. It was more for weather protection and land hazard. That is what I believe.

For the 80k child's grave, it could just have been grieving parents unwilling to leave their child to scavengers. A very human reaction.

Clothes offer protection from many different things, weather and physical harm included. I doubt they were timid about appearance

Maybe we attribute burial to religion bc of our modern bias? What are the other options? Toss the body in the woods and watch it decompose and get picked apart by scavengers? Use a lot of resources to watch the body burn? Or you could bury it and have a nice, not disgusting way to memorialize them for as long as the relatives will be alive? Is there a difference between religion and sentimentality? I am honestly asking.

Having cooked meat on a fire I would suggest that clothing might have started as prote turn from hot splats. As for the first burials, I for one would hope that was just plain human nature, not wanting to see a loved one rot, or maybe didn't want to keep being reminded of their loss.

Most anthropologists agree that clothing began as protection where necessary and adornment where not necessary. A lot of this is based on the observation of cultures that live in temperate and tropical climates prior to the introduction of Western style morality. The addition of various items to a person added to their being interesting ... to the opposite sex, among other things. And archaeologists tend to agree with this evaluation.

I think people started wearing clothes for protection. Or, maybe they didn't want to butthole the ground every time they sat down? It's not really that much of a mystery to me.

the first reason human started to bury their dead is to avoid predator comming into their camp site or to avoid sencing human presence to predator

Something that has occurred to me in a lot of the archeological finds is the immediate assumption of simple finds to being a weapon….for instance..
The carved round stone balls mentioned here, why a propellant against an enemy???
Instead… could these balls simply be a grinding device for grain? In the palm, this could be rolled over a rock, grains for example, . The aboriginals of Australia did in their own fashion.

In Georgia they found the oldest humanoids outside of Africa and, there were some stone slabs floors and boulder walls, but in one of the caves they found rolled up cotton fibres-crude remnants of cloths ?

NAMIBIA!!! Born and raised. We visit the coast multiple times a year. We love it there. It's so beautiful and there is much to see. Something that always catches my eye is how the landscape changes from the Capial Windhoek to swakopmund 400km in distance from each other.
