Of course you could also zoom in or out while moving the camera but it's very difficult to get a smooth effect, especially with pinch-zoom... Up to you 🤷🏻‍♂️😎

Or if you want to put actual effort into it, you can set up a simple dolly system by using an office rolling chair. While you move yourself back or have a buddy help you, physically zoom in your phone's camera. I guarantee you it's going to look a lot like the actual shot you're trying to replicate.

I use Protake and The app has Zoom tagging so that you can zoom in while you go away from the subject. No edits needed.

There's an alternative method for this which requires no editing:
Start recordjng and just move away from the subject and simultaneously zoom in and you will get the dolly zoom effect.
