Ah, thanks for the comment reply. Though oddly a number of benchmark sites and reviews point to the the GTX 660 Ti's to be of a better value and performance. Did you mean that just the regular 660's were nerfed? I was just initially curious to the difference between GC's and non-GC'd 660 Ti's. Since most people can overclock the cards themselves...

I've looked around for parts in the past year and when I did that Scan most of the time was always slightly more expensive for their parts. Amazon usually trumped them.

In Australia the 660ti is priced at ~400AUS and the 7950OC from sapphire is priced at 370 (see umart and computer alliance) So if you are from the land down under go the 7950 OC.

well some people don't have a graphics card to start with so spending 400 straight up is pretty pricey, but getting a 680 for around 300 that is pretty nice, I am surprised some people are still purchasing old graphics cards.

This will probably be the card I get when I upgrade my PC. The GTX275 just doesn't quite cut it for most games anymore.

yeah ive gotten suggestions on the PUS but i may stay with the AX850 and for the ram ive changed it to 1600 and the reason i went with 16gb is because i like the corsair vengeance look but they only have the blue color in 2x8gb packs so yeah

It's quiet because of more cooling surface (depends on which radiator and what size you take!), which allows you to set your fans to a low level (even at a point where you'd have to go for higher rpm with air cooling). And you're right, it would be more efficient if your system uses 50 % of the psu all the time...but I guess people aren't running Furmark and Prime 95 all the time they use their pc. It's all about reasonable sized psu for the particular pc.

Hyper Threading isn't necessarily bad for gaming, it's just that most games don't utilize the extra threads

Can you do a benchmark on the temps? Because no one is making reference except pny and evga.
