Learn EVERYTHING you need to know to Build a 5" Freestyle FPV Drone with

If you feel like building a 5" Freestyle Drone is too hard, you just need the right guidance.
So, I built a course with 71 highly detailed but simple modules, breaking down absolutely everything! They're can't be anything missing, if there is, I will add it. The Runcam Micro HD aka HD Zero is practically the same camera as the Runcam Mipi for DJI. In what would be the closest test to measure the quality between the two platforms, we go head to head to see whether or not there is any difference between the two in video quality.

Can you tell?

#HDZero #SharkByte #DJI
#FPV #Drones #Sub250 #Sub250g #Sub250gFPV #MicroFPV

Would you fly Shark Byte with this camera?

I think one is SB and 2 is DJI, but as I was watching it I thought the first one was DJI, it’s only when it changed and there’s a little bit more detail on the floor that I realised.

i think 2 is dji as it just has the dji colour pop but hard to tell, upload currently only 360p . will have better idea when my hdzero arives. good video though

Hi, can anybody explain the technical difference between the both cams? They've both MIPI interface and the same sensor, right? Is it pure firmware or is the hardware different as well?

Excellent! Been curious about this. Mention you and a few other channels in todays video that drops in a few hours. Thanks for all the great work you are doing getting tips and information out on these systems.

The kids are gonna love that like footage from the 80's!

The over saturation in #2 made me think that was the SharkByte clip. I think the extra detail in the foreground was a focus issue, not the difference between DJI and SharkByte.

I think the colours and detail are a fair bit better in the second clip. Seems like a fair bit of halo effect on the first camera which might be due to a dirty lense? My guess is the first is sharkbyte

Thank you for the video! Looks to me like SB is 1 and DJI is 2. Not because of the video, they both look very close, but you don't go crazy with the 2nd. That let's me assume the additional weight of the DJI or Caddx Air Unit.

Lol, I noticed that the DJI quad props were not in sight, and the SB props were. #1 SB, #2 DJI. I waited on Sharkbyte to get to this point. DJI image is unmatched as well as range, and penetration at this point, and probably will be that way for a while, but for me the deal breaker is variable latency. While Sharkbyte may not match DJI in any aspect except latency, and non interference of other pilots. I think that it is good enough at this point. The 1 watt vtx will also greatly improve the user experience. I hope the durability of the vtx improves, imo they should concentrate on making a reliable 30x30 as they develop a reliable 20x20

I believe that Runcam use the same camera in nutshell. Only with different interface for encoder/VTX output.

1 is SB. Much more shimmer on the fence. 2 has the softer look of the DJI system.

1 is sharkbyte, 2 is DJI, biggest giveaway is the blocky areas of ground with no texture phasing in and out of existence on DJI, I've got both and the DJI is usually the inferior HD experience

Awesome side by side!!! My first guess was that the first half was DJI and the second half was FS, but now I'm not so sure of compelling test...!

1 is SB. It has noticeably less resolution and the typical SB compression artefacts.

1 is SB, because of the very slight digital break up.
2 is DJI

1ste clip has a dirty lens, 2nd clip has a clean lens.

1 sharkbyte, 2 dji.
The greater detail of dji is noticeable in these images, but I doubt that much difference can be noticed in the small screens of the goggles.
