Hey doc! I’m working with a set of twin teens who have PNES. They don’t seem to understand that they don’t have epilepsy. Could you make a video explaining the difference, especially the difference in outcomes, on a 5th-9th grade reading level?

I did an MRI and EEG two years ago and my doctor (neurologist) told me and my parents that I don't have epilepsy and that I should go to the therapist, ever since then my whole family think that I'm faking the seizures for attention and that I should just stop

At night I wake them up because I scream and say words believe me if I could stop I would I hate being like this I miss being normal please help me out if u can I just want the right diagnosis and somebody to believe me

I fall in front of them many times during the day and they don't try to help in fact they get annoyed
