Short summary:
The moderate libertarians on both the left and right must appeal to the authoritarian extremists in their own camps to prepare the stage for an adult debate. If each camp could dial down its hostilities an atmosphere may emerge where a sharper dialectical discussion could take place and perhaps a synthesis could mature between the camps concerning policy disputes.

We should most certainly talk, however at the base of the problem there are very deeply ingrained mindsets at work—life fabric, frame of reality, existential dilemma level beliefs. What is in a word? Equality. It’s a container for a feeling, one’s idea of equality may be another’s idea of spiritual oppression. Will a compromise be reached or will the rift widen? A discussion is beginning to unfold via the internet, but we should never discount the historical fact that splits/ruptures occur throughout history over real philosophical/moral dispositions. Bolsheviks vs Mensheviks, etc. A discussion is a step, but into what exactly?

The 'Libertarian' says to team up and stifle the voice of large groups of people in the name of democracy. This double-talk is literally a class-based recipe for a fascist backlash.

Where is the full version of this speech? I have seen it before and now it seems to have been removed?

Fedralism solves all these problems, if we get a canton based system like Switzerland we can have decentralised experimentanalism, and maybe compare the policies. An easy example would be UBI vs negative income tax, experiment if different cantons, measure the results, apply.

Who are these authoritarian people on the Right? What do they believe? How large/significant a group is it?
