Tbf eel is an acquired taste but if you come from a fish eating culture or eat a lot of fish they’re actually not going to be massively offensive to you and you may just like them outright. If the only fish you like is tuna, salmon and cod you’re going to have a hard time however. Being Sicilian we ate fish for the hot times of the year so when I tried them in London for a gag I was the only one to finish the plate 😂
