Men have become like this.
This is a sort of mental emasculation that has happened to them.
I call this the "Main phir bhi tumko chahoonga" syndrome.
On one side, social-media conditions them to be spineless soy-boys. Severe addiction to porn and masturbation also affects them mentally.
A constant portrayal of righteous, self-respecting, vocal, decisive men being depicted as 'toxic', or 'red-flag' (in today's terminology) in pop-culture, all of this has been shaping them up this way.

I was watching a YouTube short clip from the 2003 film Chalte Chalte on YouTube where the character of Shahrukh Khan is hurt and angry at his wife because she accepted money from a rich man, her best friend, who was previously interested in her, in order to pay off her husband's loans, without letting him know.
I was amazed to see a lot of men terming Raj Mathur (the character of Shahrukh Khan) to be on the wrong side of the compass, whereas that's how any betrayed man would react!
Anybody who has watched Chalte Chalte would know the constant class condescension that the middle-class Raj Mathur had to face from the elite girl's family.

So you see, the basic mental ability to grasp human emotions, common sense, everything has gone for a toss, thanks to this rampant mental emasculation of today's men.

9:03 Maine ek Malayalam film dekhi thi Bro Daddy naam se, film to khaas nahi lagi thi lekin usme Iddiyappam naam ki dish ko bahut acche se dikhaya hai pati patni ke prem ko darshane ke liye.

1994 ki bhi maine ek behtereen Malayalam film dekhi thi Pavithram naam se, usme bhi Mohanlal ji ke paatr ko Onam mein Sadhya paroste dikhate hain or pakwaano ko bahut sundarta se dikhaya hai. I really loved jis tarah se Pavithram mein Onam ka tyohaar or gaanv ki sundarta dikhayi thi, that was real Kerala beauty as well as a beautiful plot ki apne kartavyon ke liye insaan kya kya tyaag deta hai. ❤

After bittu's confession they behaved like nothing happened which was just nonsense! So unrealistic and lame and stupid love story ending.
