I had a physically disabled son, who followed and attended the North-West University rugby games and the Leopard rugby team for many years. His name was Arend "Eagle" and for me the mascot has a different meaning when I find him at events. To me it is a celebration of my child's life, after his death in 2019. Thank you NWU for having Eagi.
