Coding is dead, programing is not. I am really tired of having to stress that. Programming is software problem solving. That won't go away just because AI can write the code.
I mean even if you describe all your requirements in natural language -- that is still programming. Can you imagine some user of a dropshipping storefront describing to an AI that he needs a server solution heavily based on parallelization that uses a NoSQL database? And then not being able to debug when the AI makes a blunder?

im working for a foreign company (not American tho) as outsourced labor overseas. the pay is pretty sweet for local standards, but much cheaper compared to the company's home country salaries.

There is no reason on Earth not to learn to code. If you enjoy creating things, learning how to code is a great idea. There's no reason why you can't learn to code on top of learning a trade, or going into business, or whatever you want to do to earn money. We should never stop learning how to create things, that's what humans are meant to do. Stop thinking about it in terms of the job market or economics or whatever. If you like creating things, learn to code
