Oh my friend.. I feel your pain. That looks like hell on earth to those of us that get easily seasick. He was PROBABLY thinking up on the flybridge, where he could see the horizon was a good bet. And usually it is. But at some point, there is no stopping it.

Gotta be nuts to venture out in that kind of water, and without floatation devices, just plain dumb.

I agree a wee bit more throttles, OR JUST RECONSIDER GOING OUT IN 4-6 5-7 footers 🤪

A lot of couch potatoes commenting why this guy is going out in those conditions?.. these are normal conditions from an inlet transitioning to an open waters

I youre sick stay topside, get a breeze, and just look really far away for a whil. Also it's counter intutive, but remember if youre prone to motion sickness, then make sure to not go out on an empty stomach.

Why would you even leave port on a day like this?

Not a boater here, but doesn't every local weather forecast warn boaters about conditions on the ocean? I know I hear terms like "light chop", etc. all the time. Or can conditions change that quickly while you're out there?

The transom shows the boat being from New York, NY. But the registration number on the bow is for South Carolina. I wonder if the owner is trying to get around paying higher NY taxes and fees?

WHY would you go out on a ocean like that?
Hope he has life jackets!

Many many years ago at the age of 18 I went out on a charter boat out of Destin. I got seasick. It wasn’t a pretty sight. I can laugh at it now but it took many years before I could.
