Im a writer and my employer tried this out with me. Its the absolute worst as he started questioning my work. Out of the 6 hours I worked, only 46 minutes was recorded productive, the rest are only neutral. So, my employer asked why.

Of course, as a writer employee, Im not on the keyboard typing for the full 6 hours. Theres more idle times than productive times as a writer.

Because, most of the time, Im reading, planning what to do next, looking over sources, and many more.

But if you ask me if Im going to write a piece that would take me an hour? To break it down, only 10-15 minutes would be the actual writing, the rest are all research, proofreading, cross checking, and many more.

It sucks. Support is in a different time zone and barely any support at all. I have to wait up until 12:30 AM my time to be told to get more log files and no answer.
