Just a personal note as someone who has taken TMG, in the 500mg to 1000mg level it seems to be well tolerated for me, however, I find more than that in the 2-3 gram range will cause me to experience depression. This is widely reported with TMG or Choline supplementation. At 2-3 grams it did help with my sleep, actually gave me perfect sleep but did make me depressed. The neurotransmitter Acetylcholine is tricky, it needs to be in balance, too little not good, and too much can not be good as well. Anyway if you decide to supplement with TMG, I would examine how you feel after a week or so and if you are feeling depressed it could be the source, and you may need to play with the dosage, that has been my experience.

A friend of mine took TMG had blood work before & after The blood work showed his homocysteine level dropped which is good 👍

Are there any dosage charts for the bell shaped curves of these HERMETIC supplements like NMN, TMG, ALA, AKG, METHYLENE BLUE, etc? The Goldilocks dosages for these hermetics, since Hippocrates commented that the difference between a poison and medicine is the dose...? Looking for the goldilocks just right ranges of the hermetic bell shaped curves per Kg body weight or something scientifically similar to make charts. Thanks.

So since TMG increases methionine (which it does by converting homocysteine to methionine) in the body, and since reduced levels of methionine are linked to greater longevity, are we possibly shortening our lives by increasing methionine through TMG supplementation?

Can anyone comment on the effects of TMG vs methyl folate? I can't take methyl folate without feeling a plethora of negative effects from it, felt like I was going out of my mind, anxiety, racing thoughts, palpitations, nervousness, I literally couldn't function. I know taking niacin/nmn/NR will counteract the negative effects of methyl folate, but the balancing act is just too much to deal with, is TMG a more foolproof way of getting methyl groups or am I likely to end up in the same predicament taking it?

Does anyone else track sleep? For me NMN gives CRAZY good deep/REM sleep based on multiple trackers. And I almost always feel refreshed no matter what with NMN. Is this a known "benefit" and is anyone else seeing this?

I get anxiety when I first take tmg, but after a couple hrs I feel better. It says to take 2 but I only take 1, I wonder if taking another 1 will help or make the anxiety worse?
