Honestly I still don't see an anime villain design that can match Perfect Cell's, he's sooo cool looking, Toriyama is a king.

The arc preceding Cell's first appearance is one of the best things Toriyama ever did, it reads like a horror mystery and makes his reveal so fucking good

I like to think of his three forms taking in characteristics of the most dominant Cells.
Imperfect Cell: Resembles Piccolo, is calculating and intelligent.
Semi perfect cell: Resembles Vegeta, gains an ego and uses the Big Bang attack
Perfect cell: Resembles Goku, wants a challenge and so he creates the Cell games

I think Cell potential is so underrated with his saiyan dna and frieza dna if he trained he has potential to be so strong plus he gets power boost from near death experiences.

Imperfect and Perfect are his coolest looking forms. Semi-Perfect just looks goofy.

To this day cells first appearance in series gives me chills. Everything leading up to it felt like you were watching some horror movie being played out in front you. I consider that the best introduction to any character in the franchise.

Cell is my favorite villian in the Dragonball series especially in his perfect form.hopefully they can bring him back and put him in the next Dragonball super soon.

First form Cell was the best form. The way he destroyed both Piccolo and 17 was amazing.

A lot of people forget that Frieza at the time would get *BUFF* when he went full power as well, which could in part explain Cell getting *BUFF* at full power!

I love how Cell and Goku are very similar; for example, they were both able to reproduce a power after experiencing it only once. (Goku with God Ki and Cell with his perfect form)
Even after the power source left them, they could still tap into it.
Cell is very Saiyan-like which is why I think he was a Super Saiyan...
And I often like to think of perfect Cell as an evil Goku...

Someone also noted that the forms of Cell mirror the fighters he faces Piccolo, Vegeta, Goku, Gohan in that order which is also true in a way.
