How much money do you need to be rich? For these 1970s schoolchildren, to be rich can mean having £14 or £1,000,000,000. What would they do if they were rich? What would they buy? Is being rich a good thing? Can you be rich AND English?

As luck would have it, one of the children interviewed in this report for Junior That's Life has first hand experience of being rich - she has "ten million dollars hundred" in her piggy bank - so she is able to describe in great detail what daily life is like for the spectacularly wealthy. Eye-opening stuff.

The little guy, who said that he would give a 100 pounds back. I would love to know who he became. He looks no more than 9 -10 there, so he must to be around 50 now.
He struck me so much, he seems like quite mature for his age.

Children are so innocent. Some of their answers were wishful thinking I suspect. They have an answer for everything. I wonder if the lad who shunned a life of riches feels the same today as he did when they were filming this programme. So sweet.
