Pellet Hookbait MADE EASY | Match The Hatch | Carp Fishing Rigs

Have you ever used this hookbait?!

Usually carp anglers avoid using fiddly 'perishable' hookbaits because we are leaving rods out for longer than many anglers. We all know pellets are relatively cheap and send carp potty, often getting pre-occupied on them! Well, here is a proper way or 'matching the hatch' that Mike Holly has up his sleeve and best of all, it is really easy to tie!

Great idea, the breakdown time could be made longer ny soaking them in some oils.

Brilliant 'outside the box' thinking.
Ive got the fishing bug again recently but will only be able to do short day sessions.
I think this technique will be in the cards👍

Great little tip 👍🏻 Could always put a fake pellet on the end, I’m sure I’ve got some that pop up too 🤔

Dip them in fish oil before you cast out will add a few more hours best if soaked over night

My go to for pressured barbel that have been hammered on big single pellets, sometimes using 2 different sizes tied on with the floss as I’m feeding 2-3 sizes of free offering pellets, like 3, 4 and 6mm or 4, 6 and 8mm’s . 👍

Tel swears he could cast out a single caster and be confident if he says it works it works. I havent done alot of fishing with really small baits confidence thing but when you see what they feed on most of there food items are tiny. I need to fish more small baits 4sure 🙌
