Love that she brought up the Chitlin Circuit. My grandparents would take my mom and aunt, and their friends. Growing up in a big, friendly multicultural/ethnic/race neighborhood in San Francisco, my family would listen to comedy records and watch Flip, Moms, Redd Foxx, etc. whenever they were on TV. I feel so fortunate to have had the upbringing I had.
