Howard Johnsons Magnetic Motor Truth. The reason why all people fail to build a working one.

The big question is: Why does it not work as desired?
Howard Johnsons idea behind is, to create a small inbalance in the magnetic fields by using a special arrangement of the magnets using a curved one. The goal is that the magnets continuously move away from the corresponding fixed ones and so a perpetual movement takes place.
Good idea, but it fails. Why? Watch me please ;-)

Great presentation, really good.
But it does not debunk Howard Johnson's magnet motor. His samarium offset magnets had a "blade" front and tail edge, which he said was implicit to get the thing to work. The other interesting fact is that he was placed under house arrest by the American authorities for the rest of his life. For a worthless idea that didn't work? I find that very hard to believe.
Someone somewhere took his inventions very seriously, and made sure he did not go public with them. America is an oil nation.
Also, there are vested interests that watch the American patent office like a hawk. It was only after he patented his device that he was arrested.
Finally, if I might add, this is not thermo-dynamics. It is magneto-dynamics, and therefore does not fit Newton's first law. Magnetism is still a long way from being fully understood.

🧲 I solved this years ago, as not all of the info in the video is accurate. Shielded stator magnets to create imbalance in the wheel was not covered here. Thus, just because a video looks and sounds correct, does not mean it is. That's one of the biggest drawbacks using animated mechanics. Cheers! 🍺

To draw energy out of a magnetic field is as impossible as drawing energy from the gravitational field. You only get potential energy, but never continuous energy. Conservation of energy can't be tricked. Mr. Howard was a nice and honest man, but his ideas about magnetism were all wrong.

You missed an extremely important component which is the real reason why your demonstration shows a non working model. Most people miss it so don’t beat yourself up. The magnets in Howard Johnson’s motor rest upon a semi permeable magnetic support plate. Any device not including this is a different beast, akin to removing the wheels of a car and saying it will do the same job as when the wheels were on it!
As Tesla stated we need more people experimenting rather than theorising. We can’t say things don’t work based on our education in case our education is wrong, that would be akin to believing only the stories from one parent in a divorce!
Your animation skills are amazing and I enjoyed the presentation, however, I have used a “semi permeable magnetic support plate” by utilising MU metal and let me just say, without it it’s the same as taking those wheels off!

Could the stick be perpetually pushed along to perpetuate the magnets perpetually by containing the entire system inside of a torus solid structure made with a hydrophopic coated inner chamber that reduces drag within itself to allow a contained closer to endless river within itself to perpetuate a constant flow of motion and magnetism simultaneously by using the polarity and excitement of the repelled H2O molecules within the increased ambient natural pressure flux state to then allow the inner magnets contained in the river to be caught in a physical state of flow synchronously with the energy being transfered from that environments raised state of flux? I feel like the theory isn't the hard part in making a perpetual object, because isn't it technically and theoretically factually, yet maybe unknowingly undiscovered biased that everything unanimously in the universe is in a state of perpetuation? What if anything in the universe or beyond has zero infinite effect on something else? My guess is maybe only a soul separated from God. But anyways, it seems like to solve any next theoretical problem for this dream, you just need to figure out how to get whatever module of matter in your system being created to all be on the same wavelength and frequency to whatever it's able to be influenced by kinetically or influences there of as projecting outward.

My experience is that you need a magnetic shield to minimise the incoming force of the "gate"...
