Hiking 100 Miles Across the Island of Cyprus

With it's rich history & varied terrain I'll be trying to cross the island of cyprus.

I have a long term disability. I found your channel by accident. I felt like life was passing me by but watching the adventures of being in nature encouraged me to push myself to walk. I paced myself and built up some strength. Then your channel made me want to camp. I never believed I could camp again, but my walking had increased my confidence and so I got a lightweight tent and did my first solo camp in October. I just got an interview for my dream job now I feel able to go back to work.

You never know the chain of events that are inspired by your channel. Cheers Liam 🎉

So pleased you enjoyed Cyprus. The people are as good as you'll find anywhere in Europe, and the food and beer (Keo) is just as fitting. The Troodos range is huge and so diverse. The green fence you camped by on the Paphos coast is Nea Pafos, a UNESCO World Heritage Site - You'd have loved a walk around it. Stunning ruins, including an early amphitheatre.

Absolutely love this content!! I usually walk 3 miles a day since watching your videos I've increased that to 6 1/2. The goal being to hike up a mountain in the spring and enjoy a gorgeous view. I'm surprised you called them fries. Enjoy your holidays!!🎅🏽🎄

I'm Greek and I never imagined Cyprus is so beautiful. I love mountain hiking and your videos always inspire me to hit the trail again every time I feel doubtful or lazy 😁 wish you came to Northern Greece too, Epirus region. The rivers, gorges and mountains are magnificent here 💕⛰️

It's a very nice walk but that smile from Liam's buzz of enjoyment of the moment is infectious and when I'm out enjoying a walk I sometimes get the Liam buzz also and think yeah that's it, that's what that guy Liam is getting. He is simply the best.

Liam, I have just discovered your videos and seeing you in Pafos, where I am so fortunate to live, I totally understand why you liked it so much. Living in Cyprus is living the dream from the coastal paths in Pafos to the spectacular Troodos mountains range where I love running the trails. Cyprus has everything, including skiing in the Troodos. Beautiful weather, swimming in clear waters of the Mediterranean. What more could anyone want😊

As always a good and relaxing video from you Liam - and I agree, being in the outdoors is much better than most TV. I did quite a bit of hiking and climbing when I lived in Cyprus in the 90s. At the time there didn't seem much of a hiking/climbing culture for the Cypriots, and most fellow soldiers seemed to prefer sea based adventurous training or triathlon so mostly left to my own; it was great!
