This is extremely important information for dog daycare. Most handlers in those facilities have no follow through with the dogs and let situations spiral out of control.

Watching these videos really gives me confidence that one day I will be able to "stop things early on". Keep doing these!

I just love how that Aussie is like .. "I stay with the humans, let the kids do their thing, I'll herd them later"

That was so very helpful! I started working at a doggy daycare and needed tips on calming the bigger dogs down. Appreciate you!

Fantastic video. I made the mistake of taking my dog to a doggy daycare when he was young so he plays extremely rough. Never knew how to fix it but thanks to your videos, we've been working hard.

Gosh I really like your Doberman. Never been really interested in them cause I always seem to associate them with those rude urban cultures. But Prince is really great love to watch him handle himself plus you could see hes close to you. Much success, love your videos.

Thank you! This dog does exactly what my 1 year old dog does.

What would you suggest for dogs with high prey drive, like they zone in on one dog, bark and chase them too aggressively. would you suggest the same thing?

My 1 year old male black lab has gotten expelled from dog day care due to non-stop humping which they say was causing fights. They said they couldn’t distract him. I was not there to know what exactly they did. Daycare seems to be too much for a reactive dog like him. He was neutered but it apparently hasn’t helped. (He was previously thrown out before he was neutered and told to come back afterwards.) Now we are at a loss as to what to do. We live in a small community with no dog parks or walking groups. The only comparable dog in the neighborhood is very submissive, lies on his back when he sees our dog. As a result, the owners avoid us! His socialization skills have suffered because of where we live. He is not mean with other dogs — just dominant and out of control rough play. Ugh.

I'm new to dog training, love your K9 university facility KUFcamp, that place is awesome, I'm far behind your knowledge, but learning a lot from the content you provide, your videos are golden, I wished you stayed in Orlando, I would have love to be your apprentice, watching this video at 0:54 that sounded to me like the description of positive and negative punishment from operant conditioning,

Is the only way to stop humping or mounting on another dog when you are away from the pack by teaching them it is not okay when you are around? I recently rescued a couple of female corgis and the one that came a week after will hump/mount the other corgi when that corgi is resting. She doesn't try to do that when we are around but once we are away, she will try to do it pretty quickly. We currently have them separated in two areas with a door in between when we are away but a trainer told me we need to change that door into a gate or something so the pack can still see each other while we are away. Would you also recommend that or would a door be fine?

should I or rather am I supposed to correct other peoples dogs when they misbehave and their owner doesn’t mind or notice?

I notice that you have a Ridgeback. Can you offer some tips on training this great breed as they are not a easy to train as many other breeds

I have a 6 month old American bullldog with similar issues. The humping that used to be so cute as a puppy is noy leading the way to dominance and potential agression. So am correcting just like in the video.

How rough should you allow puppies to play? I noticed the paw up and jumping you are correcting.
