I feel that just as Luffy's ability to gain allies is one of his greatest weapons, Buggy's ability to constantly stumble to the top should be considered one of the Cross Guild's military assets.
The guy just can't lose no matter how much he wants to, and I don't doubt that Crocodile will abuse that fact in his plans

One more thing you forgot to mention but Bonney is MOST LIKELY going to ally with the straw hats. She quite literally idolizes Luffy right now. We also know Bonney has full control of the pacifista so that just further increases the military strength of the Straw Hat fleet (like they needed any more).

The Strawhats biggest weakness is organizational logistics. They have no central leadership, as Luffy really does not want it, and it would take a lot of difficult time and effort to bring all their allies together.

I personally believe that the cross guild is going to recruit all of the main antagonists of previous arcs. This is because Oda has been showing previous arc villains like Geko Moria and Don Kreig to still be alive. I also think it would be funny if when Oda said that the one piece wouldn’t be the friends we made along the way he meant it would be the enemies we made along the way instead, and that’s what the cross guild will be! (Because X marks the spot)

Have Neo Mads join Cross Guile. That way you get Germa army and Vinsmokes plus Caesar Clown and Buggy the Clown meet.

Buggy awakening would be a broken power up, he'll essentially become a logia capable of splitting to atomic level that no one can touch him even with haki . And he could split and chop up everyone around, even people and weapons

The endgame is where Luffy's biggest strength that Mihawk pointed out at Marineford prevails. I am starting to think that Oda accidentally made Luffy's entire extensive armada too fricking strong that he needs to really amp up the Celestial's to hold some weight in the endgame, just like how utterly broken Madara in the 4th war was and just to meet, imo a kinda BS ending at the hand of Zetsu.
