This is one where I'm not really with Larry, a lot of people get tattoos as a reminder of something important or to represent something they loss and its a cathartic act to have it branded on them. And SINCE its branded on them its something that gets habituated, its not an affectation like hes trying to reduce it to.

Ok, so she’s totally the most annoying character ever and it is difficult for any Curb watcher to not love Larry, but that bit about “Then why didn’t you put it on your ass?” was just weird, not metoo-uncomfortable, but just weird and not like usual Larry funny.

The usual Larry might go more like, “Hey, let me ask you something” and go on to blithely insult the sacred one-eyed whatever that she deeply reveres with his line of interrogation.
