Personalized products are certainly a billion dollar industry by now. Offering unique products like personalized jewellery, custom print on demand products, or other sorts of highly personalized products help you stand and make your store feel unique and premium.

In this video, we're covering how to set up custom products on Shopify, by adding new custom input fields and product options on the product page. The four most common input fields you’d find are text inputs, checkboxes, custom image uploads, and dropdown select elements. All four can be added through code and don’t need any further paid apps.

This is exactly what I need for my aftermarket wheel site. I need to collect non-variant related information such as offset, hub size, vehicle and more. Sounds like this is what I’ll need to do:

1. Duplicate product detail template to be used by “wheels” products.
2. Find the appropriate location to add the doc and inputs.
3. add the inputs and proper syntax as shown in the video.

Obviously there’s more than this todo but thank you so much man. I’ve been hammering app tryouts for the last 5 days.
