One of the best things about the Panasonic Lumix cameras is the ability to customise them. Creating custom modes lets you save your most-used settings across different menus. Doing this will speed up your workflow dramatically, allowing you more time to enjoy shooting.

I love all your GH6 centered explanations. Great stuff!

So can you actually duplicate all the Manual Video Mode setting into any/all C1-4 configurations?
I thought they were all dedicated to photography. Thanks

The biggest tip I'd give about custom modes is that it preserves the shooting mode you were in when you created the custom mode. If you're just doing video, and you do it from the Creative Video Mode, that's not a problem, because you can change the exposure priority in the Creative Video Mode. But if you do stills as well, or if you create a custom mode while, say, in Aperture Priority, you won't be able to change it.

I don't know why they don't let you change the exposure priority in the custom modes, it's stupid. But there you go. Tricks for new players!

I may have figured it out although you don't discuss here. I'm talking about getting up to 10 customs in C4

can you show us if Variable frame rate turns on 5K? (so we can do slow-mo 60fps in camera).

why is operation mode in image stabilizer grayed out in video mode? It is there in P, M, etc. It is set to normal. Is it then normal in video camera mode? I'm confused on these settings.
