Hi everyone, I'm the curator at Mohenjo-daro. Mohenjo-daro is one of the six UNESCO World Heritage sites in Pakistan, and it's considered the best preserved and managed among them. Currently, we have a dedicated team of director, curator, and archaeological engineer who monitor the site full-time. Additionally, we have a water and soil laboratory called WASIL on the premises where artifacts from Mohenjo-daro are treated and materials like soil and water undergo chemical analysis for conservation purposes. Recently, the government of Sindh, Pakistan, organized three international conferences. We also have a Technical Committee (TCC) for making decisions regarding Mohenjo-daro, consisting of university professors, engineers, scholars, and officers from the archaeology department of Sindh, who review decisions made throughout the year and assess progress. This year, world-renowned archaeologist Mark Kenoyer has joined the TCC. When Zemtv reached out for a video, they were given priority access and a guided tour.

Each shows us an amazingly advanced civilization that includes domestic life, governance and adminstration, defence against enemies, specific places for religious activities, water conservation, drainage system, advanced agricultural methods, and trade with foreign lands over sea. Our guide at Dholavira has accompanied several archaeological teams so he knew a lot of minute details.
