Wow, this was 30 years ago! Everyone talks about her talent, rightfully so, but no mention of her beauty, huge smile, her sense of humor, and her amazing personality. She was truly an amazing person. R.I.P Mrs. Tina Turner

I still can’t believe she’s gone, I know she was 83 but she was one of those people who you think of them as ageless. She was amazing and her talent will live forever in our hearts and minds.

What an example of a person. Massively talented yet humble; cool, nice, educated, positive, never a victim despite the hardship. She exuded good vibes. Rest in well-deserved peace.

My absolute favorite song of hers. It inspired me as I was contemplating divorce from my physically abusive husband. I knew she made this song because of her ordeal with Ike. She was at her peak here. She looked utterly fantastic and was ecstatically happy. That song and the way she sang it was explosive - not only in sound but in feeling. Rest in Peace, Tina. We will never forget you because your songs will stand the test of time. ❤️🏆❤️🏆❤️🏆❤️😊

This loss hits hard. I was a young adult in the 80’s and this woman was everywhere back than. She had the whole package and the legs to match. She had to fight (literally) to overcome adversity and came out shining like a fine diamond. We’ll miss you lovely Tina. You’re now another member of a celestial choir in paradise. RIP Miss Tina.❤

This choked me up. RIP Tina. You were such a big part of millions of people's teenage years, their 20s, 30s and beyond... 💖

As a little girl when I first saw Tina dancing in her shimmy dress, I was so in awe and captivated by her dancing. I tried to dance like her and it was so much fun. As an adult now, I realize she was so much more than her talents. She was truly a wonderful person with a big heart. That’s why she was so loved and blessed. I’m glad she found the inner peace and love that she so deserved. Rest in Paradise beautiful queen 👸!

Tina was one of those people you always thought they would live forever. It's going to take some time to accept that she's not with us anymore. R.I.P. Queen 🙏👑

The Jaggers of the world could only dance that way because of the pioneers like Tina. She never had to imitate no one because she was an original.
