I consider myself a Ramsey follower even though my emergency fund is 8, 000, I meet the 401k match while paying down debt, and avalanche instead of snowball my debt. I feel Dave approved because if he knew me personally I feel he would approve. I have several advanced degrees in math and statistics. So avalanche gives me much more satisfaction and motivation than snowball. I love Dave and his crew that have helped me go from -550k to +500k net worth in 6 years!

Hit 240k today. Appreciate you for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last months. Started with 24k in September 2024

These are the types of topics my channel will be about. I used the advice of YouTubers to pay off over $32k in CC debt. It really works and the snowball system is addictive and provides a sense of accomplishment as you go. Great advice, Rachel. Let’s Help One Another

We’re debt free but I’m not happy. I’m not happy that I feel like I can’t experience things. We still don’t have enough for me to be able to work (daycare is more than my teacher income), we still can’t travel. Yes I can wait to travel until I’m 65, but what if I get sick… all the kids in my kids class are going to Disney World while we go to the Wally World… the moms have Uggs and Lululemon leggings and I’m here in my $29 sketchers and thrifted leggings
