We were taught a bit differently but i think it still ends up the same knot iunno. Once you get one of those high qual adult black belts and wear into it, putting it on is so satisfying

I go underneath the second layer on the second end/loop…makes the knot super secure.

For a tighter hold loop the last part through the hole you created and the 2nd layer

other videos ive seen, didnt show what it should look like from behind. They would just tie everything from the front, without showing that you need to tuck the belt under itself. When i was putting the belt around me, I was making it cross from behind and wondered why it was so loose, thx!
