I received my screen 3 days after ordering it. Put in the new screen, and it works like a champ! Perfect. No issues. I'm very happy! They even send a little toolkit along with the screen as a bonus. Very nice! I am so glad that I found this video. I had no idea that changing a laptop screen was something that the average non-techie person could do. Plus, my wife thinks I'm a genius (it was her laptop). We'll see how long that lasts...

Bought the screen for the Pavilion G6, just finished installing it.
Couldn't believe how quick and easy it was (I watched the video twice before starting, and then played it as I changed the screen). No problems, no issues! The laptop is back and looking good! (The tools that were included helped to make it easy for a novice.)

Hey Bro....I followed your instructions....and your right...I had problems with a blank screen. I thought that the gold connection was in tight but it wasn't. After I put everything back...no screen. I took it apart again and made sure that gold connection was in TIGHT AS A DRUM! After testing it, it worked! I really appreciate your skills in my behalf! A HUGE THANK YOU! You saved me about $150 at the computer shop! I really appreciate you taking the time and sharing your knowledge!

Just used this video to replace the screen on my girlfriend's Pavilion G6. I ordered the screen off Amazon for about $50. It took less than 15min to fully replace.. Removing the bezel was really tough at the bottom of the screen; moreso than in this demonstration. Remounting the new screen in the mounting bracket was also a little difficult without a magnetic phillips head screw driver. I'd recommend using one. Just like RAM sticks, make sure your monitor cable is FIRMLY SEATED at the connector before remounting the screen. As a whole, it was a pretty painless procedure, and the ~$50 price tag was far cheaper than getting it professionally serviced (~$150) or buying a new laptop (~$450). So Best Buy wanted to charge me $250-$300 to fix my screen after missing the warranty by 2 days. Screen Surgeons gave me the screen and tools for $100 after tax and shipping. Everything is working and I am so happy. I will be returning to Screen Surgeons if anything goes wrong again
