bias aside, i think we (michigan) have a case for #1. we beat the #2 team on the road by 22 points, as 8 point underdogs, without our best player in blake corum. oregon (who georgia beat) lost which i believe hurts their sos, meanwhile psu won so that'll give us 2 wins vs cfp top 10

Bama will probably have 1 ranked win....over a backup qb at Texas, when the rankings come out tomorrow, and 2 losses in their biggest 2 games, no division title, and no conference title. They have no business being 5 with a chance to sneak in if USC or TCU stumble. The logic makes no sense. TCU and USC are playing in their conference title, and if they lose, they are likely out, and a team like Bama just chillin that weekend with fewer ranked wins could jump in.
