Hi, I'm trying to lighten the shadows of a specific area in a photo. Can I use masking to accomplish this? I've been playing around with the tools, and I was able to select the masking area. I was able to lighten the shadows for the area, but then I couldn't figure out how to finish the masking and continue editing the entire photo. Thanks.

Exposure software does seem to provide interesting variants to other still image editing applications. However to be critical, this masking overview does not clearly reveal alterations made to the source image.

Thank you for these video. It would be helpful if you show the actual mask. It is now unclear what have been selected. It would also be helpful to show how you can adjust the mask with for instance wiping / cleaning parts of the mask by hand.

Does it work with NEF files? As I'm not getting the option to create a mask
