Yunnanosaurus is a non-sauropod sauropodomorph.

"Prosauropod" is an informal term to refer to early sauropod-like dinosaurs such as Plateosaurus. The best way to refer to them scientifically is by simply calling them sauropodomorphs.

Cool dino btw.

I enjoy the spotted, with dark greys and blacks for the main body and its spots, with its neck have orange and black stripes and a paler orange dewlap. The tail of course mimics the orange. It's a very "Sunset" color scheme and works surprising well in more brown terrain and of course during sunset.

Although I see this thing rated at Tier 3 a lot, I feel like it's on par with Amargasaurus. In many ways it feels like it trades some defense/bleed for speed. It doesn't have something as punishing as the stomp up front but it can bone break with its body slam. It feels like anything shy of a Rex is going to have a hard time with it. Any theropods its own size which go after it seem to die quickly or immediately break off, in my experience from playing it. They just have too hard of a time getting a good angle on it if it has any stamina to keep running and maneuvering.

I would place this guy at Tier 4. He is an excellent generalist build and feels very much like a "Carni pretending to be an Herbi" in his play style and speed, with no notable weaknesses and obvious strengths. He isn't a team player, however. With no way to aid allies and an over all poor moveset for working with team mates, he shines most as a solo animal, and when in herds you will most likely see them scatter because getting you to attack their tail and then punishing you for it is their main go-to for combat.

Their biggest and only flaw is that before they purchase their vertical tail strike, their standard tail strike is too high to land on a Sarco, making it so you basically can't just kite them out like everyone else. Your impressive bulk, speed, and quick recovery make you all but impossible for the Sarco, or even groups of them, to effectively hunt, however.

Obviously, they don't fare well against other herbivores, which can usually either outfight or out run them, as their forward combat abilities aren't sufficient to remain on the offensive. So expect to get bullied away by Eos, Argents, or any group of dedicated Hadrosaurs if they decide they want your turf. But that's okay, because you're mobile and not half as noisy as they are. Which means the carnis will almost always zone in on them and completely bypass you.

Anyway.. That's my experience with these guys! They're great to play and I've enjoyed them a lot on Nycta.

I kinda wish it would rear up a little more when it slashes with its claws, but that’s about it. Very nice mod!
