great selections, James! I can tell you that on Lanier with blueback’s, my most consistent producer is the fluke. I also use walking baits like gunfish, spooks and many others. Once the schoolers subside a bit, a spybait can be killer. 🙂

Hey James good one I like info on the spoon fishing. James I use to use a spoon for bluefish in the salt water 💦 near my mom's old house and those bluefish if they saw your spoon hold on they pyldrive them sam thing with our fresh water bass . By a weird coincidence, I actually have all those types of baits tied on right now, and my boat's in the shop. Getting patched up from when I was a little rough on it.

When I throw a spoon at schooling fish on top, I seldom let it sink more than a couple of feet. You can swim it near the surface and they'll eat it. You can swim it deep and they'll eat it.

We used to use 7 " Mr. Twister on a jig head on West Lake Tohopekaliga with very good success.
