Perhaps a fair argument. Ford however backed out on a retest.

The pull was made on an incline as well. Looks about a 5' grade. Don't know how the weights apply though.

Just take it to a dyno, or take it off road and then we'll see which one comes out first....

Guy draws a cartoonish car calling it Tesla.

Fun fact- It 90% resembles the actual vehicle 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Great job, but i hope the science department buys you a better set of electric cars for the next video.

Cybertruck pulled the f150 uphill, has higher towing capacity, 0-60 in less time, higher max speed, and longer range, which makes it the winner

All of these arguments are academic. Real life trucks don't do tug-of-war shows - they pull real loads.! So, make these trucks (any vehicle actually) pull sleds with adjustable weight. They would be in their out-of- the-showroom specs and trims and tires and no other modifications.

Their prices will decide what model competes with another in the same price range.

They pull separately their own sleds in their own tracks on same road surface not race tracks. The fastest time to a distance wins.

Why do all the stupid test when they can calculate it already mathematically

the cybertruck can tow the double of it's weight so it's still fair

The thing is Elon didn't even say something like this makes cybertruck better than f150 or this is a tug of war or anything like that he was just like here is a video of the cybertruck pulling an f150 uphill

He’s not trying to prove anything. What he did is called publicity.

All the disadvantages fell on Tesla and they still won. Tesla was going uphill, disadvantage. Tesla weighs 1/4 of an f150, disadvantage. If you want to get technically, since the downhill slope, technically ford started first. Trucker boys are hella pressed and need to get tf over it.

I've just never really understood the need for people's desire to eliminate the frictional component in carrying out the test between the Tesla and Ford or increasing the mass of the Ford, and my reasoning is because it's a test between both vehicle as they are (i.e., when purchased from a car dealership). Both vehicles upon purchase from a dealership will each be driven in the real world, and Friction exist in the real world. It's relatively obvious that the Cybertruck will beat the Ford in a tug of war because of the insane torque being generated by its motors and how quickly the torque generated by the motors are made instantly available at the tires of the Cybertruck due to the lack of the need to transmit that torque via a more complicated and gears packed transmission. It's game over when you throw in the fact that the Cybertruck, as design, has more mass.

Elections in my country are less rigged than the test elon carried out !

The test should be for the price point

It's not all about friction, but also about how the anchor points impact the friction on the fore and aft wheels. The towing rope was attached higher than the center of the rear wheels on the Ford (4 inches or so?), while the rope appears to be in line with both the rear and front wheels on the Cybertruck. The vertical height difference from the rear hub center to the anchor point on the Ford is a lever arm which will lift the front wheels on the Ford and reduce the grip. The neutral anchor point on the Cybertruck will not affect the weight distribution.
In a rematch, both cars should have neutral anchor points to cancel out this factor. Still, I think the Cybertruck will win due to (probably) higher mass and the instant torque (1000 nm+ ?). Even if both cars have the same mass, the torque will still favor the Cybertruck.

When ford owners lose(always) they try and come up with reasons why
