Not calling a state of emergency for that city requesting federal support is textbook dereliction of duty at all levels. These citizens are at greater risk than our troops stationed just about anywhere in the world, help them stay safe or fund their move out of that city FFS 🤬

It's all gang related. Start putting pressure on the gangs. It's not that hard. Have a police task force go hard after gangs. Actually ARREST them for illegal possession of a firearm by ineligible people. Stop attacking the law abiding gun owners. We're not the problem. When the cops arrest a gang member for black market weapons possession, DO NOT institute no cash bail and just let them go. Hold them, prosecute them and JAIL THEM. California already has the strictest gun laws in the nation. The millions of law abiding CA gun owners are constantly flabbergasted when we read about yet another gang member with previous FELONY conviction caught with a black market firearm and let go by a 'soft on crime' D.A. We live in clown world. Don't do public parades protesting the violence with signs and grandiose speeches. That's just virtue signaling and does nothing. Do the hard work of going after the gangs and punishing them. We USED TO DO THAT in the past. It worked.

Yet some citizens complained about ShotSpotter system breaching their privacy. A city-wide CCTV program has been proposed in the country a long time ago, but people keep screaming privacy while having Instagram and TikTok pages. The old "Stop & Frisk" has also been outlawed

Schools are the solution. A good teacher can save a kid from a broken family. But teachers union won't let bad schools or bad teachers fail. Bad teachers just get moved to cities in poorest areas where parents are least involved/likely to complain. So these kids have no hope. School is just a path to criminal life. Teachers Union is a big part of the problem. How can you identify excellent teachers if you dont fire bad teachers? If you have a horrible family, but a great teacher, there is hope.
