Skycity is an 77 story unfinished skyscraper in Mandaluyong, Philippines. It is a joint venture between real estate developer E. Ganzon Inc. (EGI) and Sam Buena Realty Corporation.Its estimated height is 335 metres (1,099 ft). If constructed, it will become the tallest building in the country. Skycity is planned as a mixed-used skyscraper with a hotel, office space and residential space.
The project started construction but met with several legal issues until 2010 when the supreme court ordered the project to continue but the developers were bankrupt after years of legal battle left the skycity tower project unfinished.
The Icone Tower also known as the BCDA Iconic Building, is a proposed skyscraper at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines.
Its design was inspired from Filipino culture. The Icone Tower's shape was derived from the form of the Mayon Volcano.
The Icone Tower has an elliptical cone shape reducing the cost to make the building resistant to earthquakes and typhoons. Its "almost Gothic" facade or exoskeleton is supported by arches. Its office space is meant to be illuminated by natural light. It will also host social spaces, terraces, and atriums.
The building was originally proposed to stand 308 meters (1,010 ft) tall but its height was later revised to 275 meters (902 ft). The tower will have 36 floors.
Years after this project was proposed its still unbuilt in 2023 for unknown reasons.
