Here are the most significant transformation of Infrastructure within Mega Manila by 2025 to 2030

These are the biggest public transport projects in Mega Manila, which will transform the Megapolis into a premier Megacity in Asia-Pacific, as the City regains its past glorious glory.

The Common Station of Manila, dubbed as Unified Grand Central Station. Is a state-of-the-art, rapid transit terminal, and transportation hub along Edsa, located between SM City North and the Ayala Mall Trinoma. One Ayala Grand Terminal is an intermodal transport hub that melts Makati City’s mass transportation modes into a unified system. It is part of a 390,000-square-meter transit-oriented development on Ayala Avenue corner Edsa.

The Metro Rail Transit 7 or MRT line 7, which is now at 60% overall completion rate will support essential operations, by the end of 2023. These rail and road projects have three major components, a 22.8-kilometer mass rail transit system starting from North Avenue Common Station to San Jose Del Monte Bulacan. The LRT line 1 Cavite Extension. The construction of the first phase of the 64-billion pesos Light Rail Transit Line 1 Cavite extension is now 73% complete, in a statement from LRMC, the private sector operator of LRT line 1.

The Makati Intra-City Subway is a 10-kilometer under-construction underground rapid transit line located in Makati City, Metro Manila, that will link establishments across the city's business district. The Metro Manila Subway Project is one of the first two underground railway system projects in the Philippines, which aims to provide mass transportation in the National Capital Region.

The longest Rail project within Mega Manila is the PNR Bicol or the South Long-Haul Project. The Rail line will span 39 cities and municipalities, four provinces, and two regions stretching a 565-kilometer inter-city rail line serving the southernmost of mega Manila up to the Bicol Region. While the biggest Rail project in the Country is the PNR North-South Commuter Railway. Envisioned as a 163-kilometer sub-urban railway network. Connecting, the regional business districts in Clark and New Clark City in the North, passing through central Manila to Calamba City in Laguna Province, south of the Capital.

Sangley Point International Airport, which will be the newest Airport in Mega Manila, is located in the province of Cavite, South of Manila. This $10.9 billion Airport project, is a joint consortium between the provincial government of Cavite, and local and International Companies. While New Manila International Airport is a 2,500 hectares under-construction Airport City in Bulacan that will serve as the main aviation gateway in the Philippines, designed to handle 200 million passengers.

Another monumental project in the country is the completion of Metro Manila’s extensive elevated expressways. Among these, is the construction of the 18-kilometer stretch of the Skyway stage 3 project. Making the metro Manila Skyway system, one of the longest flyovers in the world, with a total length of approximately 42 kilometers.

The Bata-an to Cavite Interlink Bridge is a 32-kilometer and 150 meters four-lane cable-stayed bridge, it will stretch 17 kilometers between Cavite and Corregidor Island, and more than 14 kilometers between Bata-an and Corregidor Island.

I've been here in MM for only 4 years and I can feel the difference and improvement in transportation. How much more within 10, 20 or 30 years from now with continuous infrastructure developments.

Did you know that originally, 2050 was the first target year for PH to become a 1T dollar economy? Apparently, the unforeseen sudden rise in our economy due to rapid changes in FDI restrictions and a robust domestic consumption despite the global downturn mainly due to OFW remittances, a leading BPO sector, and a growing tourism and digital economy. And also, the onset of AI technology can either hamper or hasten our growth, so nobody can really tell since the PH economy has been a big surprise in the past years, defying normal economic growth patterns.

That's why philippines need trains that connect from luzon to mindanao so that it's not hard for businesses to spread throughout the country. I know it's really difficult for such a big project but you can see what I mean.

Metro Manila is already developed. The nearby provinces of CaLaBaRZon region, Bulacan, Pampanga and Tarlac province where the New Clark City is located will developed faster than any provinces. The North/South Commuter railways connecting Laguna to Metro Manila to Tarlac will be the biggest. Aside from the biggest airport in Bulacan Province and of course the 2 subway systems. Not to mention the Bay Area of Pasay- Parañaque and the Manila Bay. They are HUGE.

Philippines is a top touristic destination, it's a great place for a vacation, but if you wanna live here, well there's a lot to consider. Every foreigner in the beginning (including myself) think life is GREAT in Philippines but after a while you realize there are a lot of inconveniences, things which annoy and bother us, poverty is extremely high with beggars/homeless everywhere, lots of air dust b'coz of insane traffic, and tricycle/jeepney noise/pollution are alarmingly dangerous for people's health, not to mention slow customer services everywhere in restaurants with long lines/ queue. Hard to live up with these things
