After watching SciFi Scavenger re-read “Revelation Space” recently, I think I decided I need to re-read all my Reynolds books. Then today I was telling a friend at work about this thought process, because years ago when we each gave the other a favourite book to read, I suggested he read “Revelation Space”. But ever since he has mocked me because he thought it was ridiculous 😆 Anyway, I be like ‘tell me more stories like this” with him today. And now you are, “oh my God, did I enjoy this book.” Yes, Yes, and YES 🙌 I am sat here grinning at this as it’s one of my absolute all-time favourites 😁 I am going to reread it as soon as I clear my commitment reads off the decks…

I too started on 0.5 ⭐️ upon discovering The StoryGraph, but despite several times of thinking it, I have resisted the urge to delve into 0.25 ⭐️ mainly because they’ll look oddly unbalanced amongst all the whole star ratings that came across from GR when I imported my data 😂

I was reading some Faulkner books but I'm always finding something more interesting to read. Maybe a London Fog Creamy Tea Latte will make me feel better.

I re-read Revelation Space recently after many years, I was very happy to be back in this world. only problem is i now feel the need to re-read the others....
I also read Mercy of Gods a month or two back, i thought it did a good job teeing up the trilogy. I didn't gel much with the characters yet, certainly not to the extent I did with the Expanse, but then I'm not sure that happened for me in book 1 there either. i'm mainly pleased it's not going to be a 9 book monster series!
