Today’s video is special, as it’s the start of something new and exciting…

When I started this channel, it was all about gardening, nurturing life, and sharing the joy of watching things grow on my allotment plot.

It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m so grateful for the community we’ve built here. Your enthusiasm, support, and shared love for gardening have made this space something truly special.

But as I’ve spent more time in the garden, I’ve realized something: growth isn’t just about what we plant in the soil—it’s about what we plant in ourselves. Growth happens when we step beyond our comfort zones, explore the world, and connect with nature in new and exciting ways.

That’s why I’m thrilled to announce that this channel is growing too!

While gardening will always be at the heart of what I do, (don’t worry I’ll continue to share my allotment journey) I’ll also be taking you along as I explore new horizons—literally!

Here’s what’s coming:

• Hiking: From hidden trails to breathtaking mountain peaks, we’ll discover the beauty of nature on foot together.

• Travel and Exploration: Whether it’s a day out exploring a National Trust, English Heritage or a place of interest to hiking mini breaks, I’ll be bring you along for the fun and discovery together.

• Micro Camper Vanlife: I’ve been embracing a simpler, more adventurous lifestyle, and I can’t wait to show you what it’s like to use our car as a camper for that feeling of freedom and connection.

This shift reflects the journey I’ve been on personally. Gardening taught me about patience, resilience, and connection to the earth. Hiking, travel, and vanlife are teaching me about freedom, discovery, and how to truly live in the moment. Together, they form a lifestyle rooted in simplicity, adventure, and authenticity.

So, welcome to the new and expanded Graeme’s Great Escape —where we’ll continue to dig deep, but now we’ll also climb higher, roam farther, and embrace life in all its wild beauty.
