As a son of a single mother, ppl need to understand that when youre chasing one thing another gets away. I didnt have a consistent father figure in the home. When she did have days sometimes she would be so tired she didnt pay me or my siblings any attention. She was exhausted and when youre the sole provider everything falls on you. You are the sole provider for your kids education, emotional intelligence and much more. My father was a piece of shit, my mother tried but ultimately my siblings and i raised ourselves. Shes now trying to catch up and have the family time now. Its almost too late, we have our own lives now. It truly takes a village.

I'm still amazed by my mom she worked a 9 to 5 had multiple dogs she walked everyday 3 times she gave me everything I needed including hobbies she is an incredibly stoic woman glad she is stress free with two adult sons

Never talked bad about my father and allowed me to see him even when he wasn't coming around like that and fucked up when I was a baby.

Personally, I think all women should make some kind of money for herself. All women need to have their own money separate from a man period

People need to learn how to communicate. It's okay to disagree but learn to have fruitful, engaging, and respectful conversations to comprehend all sides of a discussion.

I'm all for women doing whatever they (individually) want to do. I agree that men should at the very least be able to provide financially so that their pregnant wives/gf or a woman who just gave birth can stay home and take care of their child and herself.
HOWEVER, to expect a new mother, who may be recovering from a C-section, ppst partum depression or even a traumatic natural birth, to 1.. take care or a newborn or even a toddler, 2. Run a houshold with all the cleaning, cooking etc and 3. Make money online, supposedly to pay half the bills.. y'all have truly lost your minds!!!! Can we please stop with the super-black-woman stereotype already. It's costing bw too high a price, and it's robbing children of time with their mom if she's always on the grind. NORMALIZE REST AND LEISURE FOR BLK WOMEN!!!
No wonder more bw, (and women in general) are opting for the single and child-free life. Y'all really expect TOO MUCH. 👀

Furthermore, women are not a monolith. Some want to be a SAHMs, others want to work from home part time, and some want jobs that will require them to leave home. The idea that women shouldn't leave their homes after becoming mothers and that we should be pressured or shamed for doing so by men or youtubers is beyond ridiculous!
Are women free or not?! Cause it's getting weirder by the day. 🤨

She is definitely right. If your kids are in school you can get a part time job and invest your money. Your kids are in school for 6 to 8 hours. Could also even get funds from your husband if there is a solid stream from investments to further invest.

For decades moms who found themselves single for whatever reason, were capable of working and taking care of their kids. The total lack of personal responsibility and excuses from females today is infuriating. "I'm a strong woman" all while demanding everyone but themselves to pay their way. 😡

There are times that I will call you out on certain things that to me, are just wrong. But this ain't one of them LOL you hit it right on the head. I am a father, who takes care of their children which includes cooking, cleaning up after them, dropping them off at school, picking him up from school LOL which I am in fact in line to do right now, among other things. Women are a amazing creation by God, formed with his hands (from Adams rib) .
Women can make money from home in amazing ways from having a nursery of plants, hand made creams and fragrances even online work.
So yes we can stay home and have money flow

That part!!!! I am a full stay at home mom who works fulltime and make fulltime money and what sparked me to do this is because I have an autism child who also needed me to be home to care for. After the pandemic, there are more remote work then ever!!! So any mother can do this

I think they are confusing full-time income with "work." Maybe at first you won't make a full-time income, because a home-based business takes time to build. They may say "I can't afford a computer or internet." What? You're on the internet! I know women who have started out on their phones and then when they started making more money, got a computer, printer, whatever they needed. These women just need to be educated and encouraged. They don't believe they can do both, but yes, you can.
