I’ve waited to buy a p30 for years waiting for a better reset and optic cut. Stumbled on a video this morning of the LTT p30 and ordered right away. I have one of his 92s and the man is good at what he does.

Wright Armory also does USP's. I sent them my USP9T along with a Trijicon SRO. They will cerakote, mount, laser bore sight, & lower 1/3 Co-witness before sending it back. They've had it about a month. Shouldn't be too much longer until I get it back. I am also on the waiting list for the P30L from Langdon Tactical when it comes back in stock. I could have bought a P30L somewhere else and mail it to them but I'd rather buy it from them and get them to do all of the work just like your P30 (Milling, Cerakote, straight trigger, short reset, trigger pull weight) Both companies have excellent customer service. I heard about both companies from your channel from previous reviews. Thanks for the excellent review and comparison.

I already bought & paid for my P30 LEM slide cut at LTT. Now, I am conflicted on sending it now or waiting till I use it in a class next week! Decisions Decisions! I can’t wait for both! Lol. Thanks for the info.

I'm a fan of having the slide milled for the exact optic. Upside is that it sits lower because there's no adapter plate and there's one less thing to break, downside is that it's a permanent cut and you can't play with other optics. I bought a non-optic Shield Plus and had it milled exactly for a Holosun 507k. The Holosun checks all the boxes I need so I don't feel like I'm missing out by not being able to change to an RMR or whatever.

i took advantage of Wright Armory’s black friday deal for the i-DOT for 350. seems like a solid mounting solution

I got mine with wright's set up for a 509. I guess even if i wanted to i couldn't have done the langdon due to it not being rmr footprint. But they both look amazing and hopefully help as an "unnoficial relaunch" of the p30 line.. these are fantastic pistols to be considered when buying a defensive tool

I am very happy with my P30sk (Gray Guns) and the iDOT system from Wright Armory. It is a solid set up in every respect. As I think you mentioned, switching from the RMR footprint necessitates the purchase of a different plate ($112.99 plus tax and shipping for any and each of the three options other than the one you chose when first purchased).

Huh, had no idea this was even an option. Thorough review! Excellent information and I plan to send off my P30 ASAP.

Would be awesome if we can get a long term update on these optic plates! I’m curious to see if there have been any issues with plates loosening, deformation of plate (I remember reading the WA plate is aluminum), etc. thanks as always for the terrific content!

Thanks for the comparison and contrast! I'm putting the LTT P30 with LEM on my list. I'm a fan of the Holosun 507c with ACSS reticle as this works out great for my personal preference.

My AREX Delta M has the red dot cut in it as well. Perfectly mounted my holosun it right out of the box. Thanks again for switching me over to HK it's a beautiful and magnificent gun! Holosun has the larger window, if you go with the boxy trijicon rmr your getting a smaller window and a nasty looking dot. However it is designed for military and can take a little more of a beating than the Holosun, however for EDC the Holosun still can take a great beating, it's no sissy, just isn't true milspec. But if you're beating your dots up that much I think there are a slew of other issues you're going to have to worry about. Milspec on an edc isn't needed in 99% of cases.

It is also worth pointing out that LTT does not offer RDO for the P30SK, while Wright does do a cut for the P30SK. So those who prefer a smaller gun, Wright is the way to go.
I'm going to save up for the LTT P30SK with factory sights, then send it in to WRight for the RDO cut. :D

I love the riton prd that came on my gx4, hate the trigger pull, love the size/weight, although Almost too small. Thinking about getting the xd40 and glock 17 cut If, I can afford it!

LTT has pretty much every advantage EXCEPT I like that the wright one is mounted a little further back, that's peace of mind for optics like the SRO.

Hi John awesome review! Was trying to compare LLT and Wright and found your comparison video. Great job.

I am looking to place a SRO on my p30L but was concerned about the optic hanging over the ejection port. How much distance is there between the front of the cut and the ejection port for both cuts? Do you think the SRO length is an issue with the ejection port?

Thanks in advance for your help! Keep up the p30 content it is awesome!

Update, LTT offers more than just the RMR footprint now.

LTT is offering a Nitride finish on the HK with an optic cut? I was assuming it would be Cerakote, like with the Beretta 92s...
