HOW I WRITE MUSIC

This video was really hard to make! Making music is meditative for me, so remembering that I had cameras running/shots to set up really halted the creative flow haha BUT i'm happy I did it! I tried to achieve a broad representation of my workflow for time sake, but if there's any interest in specific aspects of what I'm doing let me know in the comments!

It might as well be black magic to me how you get all the bleeps and bloops to sound like a cool song. Loved the result.

Also, is that a CRT VCR combo in the back there? I don't think I've seen one since the 90s.

IMO would love to see all the extra footage of the nuances of songwriting. I’ve been in a songwriting rut for like 5+ years now and seeing the issues other people face in the writing/arrangement process would be super helpful!

This is why I like hardware synths more than software VST/AUs. Something about the tactile nature of touching knobs and buttons stimulates creativity.
